What does the e-ticket correspond to?
A virtual ticket is a digital ticket that can either be printed on paper or downloaded to your mobile phone, depending on options available.

The e-ticket (TGV, TGV Lyria, INTERCITÉS, TER connecting services)
You can print it out or find it in your Voyages-sncf mobile app.
- No need to stress about losing your ticket : You can print it out at leisure or locate it directly in your app.
- Need to exchange or cancel your ticket? No need to find a ticket office, just go online. You can cancel your ticket wherever you are with the mobile app.
- No need to punch your e-ticket – just board the train.

iDTGV Print-at-Home ticket
Once you have booked your ticket you will receive an order confirmation email. Simply click on the link in the email to create your iDTGV Print-at-Home ticket.
Print your ticket in A4 format (colour or black and white).
Once issued, you can change your iDTGV Print-at-Home ticket up until five hours before departure. iDTGV Print-at-Home tickets are non-refundable.
You don’t need to validate it. The ticket inspector will ask to see your ticket and ID.
Cancellation Insurance is not available for iDTGV bookings.
Your order confirmation is not valid for travel. If you have been unable to print your ticket, you will be fined €5 on boarding.
OUIGO Print-at-Home Ticket
Your OUIGO Print-at-Home tickets will be sent to the email you entered when placing the order four days before departure.
If you book less than four days before departure, you will receive your OUIGO Print-at-Home tickets immediately.
Print your OUIGO ticket in A4 format (colour or black and white). Make sure it is perfectly legible. There is a €5 fine for tickets that have not been printed or are illegible.
Show your ticket at the platform ticket inspection. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before departure of the train.
OUIGO tickets are personal and non-transferable.
Ticketless Thalys (travel between France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands)
If you’re travelling with Thalys, the Ticketless Thalys option couldn’t be easier!
Enter your mobile phone number on the contact details page. You will receive a text message with your journey details (train number, coach and seat number) at least one hour before departure. You will also receive an alert if your train is delayed.
Once you have booked your ticket you will receive an order confirmation email containing your Print-at-Home tickets (not for Thalys TheCard).
Print your Ticketless Thalys in A4 format (colour or black and white).
If you have entered a Thalys TheCard card, your ticket will be saved to your card. Simply show it to the ticket inspector when requested.
If you are booking for several people, all of the tickets for the various passengers will be sent to the same email address.
If you’re travelling with Eurostar, the Print@Home option couldn’t be easier!
The Print@Home ticket is personal and non-transferable. Enter the full name of each passenger.
Once you have booked your ticket you will receive an order confirmation email containing your tickets to print.
Print your Print@Home Eurostar ticket in A4 format (colour or black and white).
We recommend you print your tickets before you get to the station. You will be charged to re-issue your ticket at the station.
Show your Print@Home ticket when checking in.
Arrive for check-in at least 30 minutes before the train leaves. At peak times and on bank holidays, we recommend you arrive 45 minutes before departure.
- You didn’t receive your Print@Home ticket by email?
Don’t worry, you can print your ticket by going to: “My orders”. You will find this at the top right of the website homepage.
If you didn’t take a note of your booking reference, there’s a form to help you find it.
With Italo, your order confirmation email serves as your ticket.
Print it and show it to the inspector when requested. Your booking reference must be visible.
You will also be asked to show valid ID (ID card, passport).
